Vintage 60s two-piece dressing gown set. This is a stunning, classic duo featuring a dainty nightgown and a matching bell-sleeve robe!
The color is a classic ivory cream. Both pieces are sheer chiffon with intricate chocolate lace detailing. Both the nightgown and robe are a flowy babydoll style with no defined waist, super comfortable for lounging around. Both pieces are lightweight, breezy and breathable, double-lined from the bust down.
Robe has short bell sleeves, lace trim at the cuffs and one button closure at the front of the bust, as well as an adjustable tie bow detail in front. Base gown has a matching bow detail at the bust.
Fits a women's size XS to Medium. Fits up to 37" bust. Full length is 39" shoulder to hem on the hanger. Shoulder seams are 15" apart. Both pieces are roughly 20" across under the arms laying flat. Free size in the hips and waist. The liner of the base gown hangs a but longer than the lace trim.
Gowns and sets like this are VERY difficult to find in such excellent condition, and often run into the hundreds of dollars from both contemporary repro designers and vintage dealers. This was one of my display pieces at @ritualcravt Cravt Market in February, and now she's ready for her new home!
