Vintage 60s two-piece dressing gown set. This is a stunning, classic duo featuring a dainty nightgown and a matching puff-sleeve robe! So much detail and beautifully made.
The color is a gorgeous pale blush pink with a shiny embossed zebra-like burnout print. Both pieces are ultra-soft poly satin with intricate cream lace and crochet detailing, and long pink satin ribbon bow accents. Both the nightgown and robe have an flattering empire waist, super comfortable for lounging around. Both pieces are unlined, lightweight, breezy and breathable.
Robe has 3/4 puffed sleeves, gathered at the cuffs with lace trim, matching lace around the collar and back, and functional pink satin buttons down the front. Base gown has matching details and buttons at the bust as well.
Fits a women's size XS to Medium. Full length is 52" shoulder to hem on the hanger. Shoulder seams are 14" apart. Both pieces are 20" across under the arms laying flat. Free size in the hips and waist.
Gowns and sets like this are VERY difficult to find in such excellent condition, and often run into the hundreds of dollars from both contemporary repro designers and vintage dealers. This was one of my display pieces at @odditiesfleamarket in December, and now she's ready for her new home!
