Vintage 60s two-piece dressing gown set. This is a stunning, classic duo featuring a delicate nightgown and a matching puff-sleeve robe!
It is NOT OMBRE - it was just very hard to photograph, as my lighting setup is designed for darker pieces and the sunshine wasn't cooperating. See last photo - the color is a true, classic baby blue. Satin with intricate lace detailing at the bust and neckline on both pieces. Both the nightgown and robe have an elastic empire waist that hugs your curves in all the right places - super flattering and comfortable for lounging around. Both pieces are unlined, lightweight, breezy and breathable.
Robe has 3/4 puffed sleeves, lightly puffed shoulders, lace trim at the cuffs and one button closure at the front of the bust.
The set fits a women's size XS, but may also fit a Small if you are a pear shape. The measurements are free but I highly recommend this set for someone with a petite ribcage/underbust area (bra band size 30-32 max). Full length is about 58".
Gowns and sets like this are VERY difficult to find in such excellent condition, and often run into the hundreds of dollars from both contemporary repro designers and vintage dealers. I would normally price this at $150 but the previous owner did a DIY hem job on the nightgown so it has a raw, slightly uneven hem. I have majorly discounted the set to account for the imperfection.
Must be sold together, they are a match made in heaven and too perfect to split up!
