Vintage 80s Victorian-inspired floral dress. This was one of our pièces de résistanceat the @bloodmilk clothing fair last month and she's ready for her forever home! She has so much going on and I am obsessed with ALL of it. Shiny, luxe black poly satin with an embossed floral print all over and the most gorgeous oversized collar in ivory crocheted lace that wraps all the way around the back of the neck. Full pleated skirt (tea length), 3/4 length batwing balloon sleeves with satin-covered buttons at the cuffs. Stretchy elastic waist and hidden thread belt loops on either side. Shoulder pads are intact (!) but can easily be removed if you prefer a more modern look. Zips up the back with a hook and eye closure at the top.
No stretch anywhere other than the hidden elastic waist. Best fits a women's size Small. Will also fit a Medium, but please note the shoulder measurement! She may also fit a XS but you might want to get it tailored - a piece as special as this one deserves a proper fit! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR SOMEONE TALL. She is supposed to hit around mid-calf to ankle - I am 5'2" and she hit right at my ankles, so it was almost too long on me. Please refer to measurements and don't hesitate to ask if you aren't sure!
Shoulder seams are 16" apart on the hanger. 20" across under the arms laying flat. 50" long shoulder to hem.
